Accessibility

Lumbee Advanced Medical Supply LLC wants everyone who buys, quotes or manages an account with us to be able to do so independently. We build and maintain lam.supply to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of ordinary quality work — reviewed when pages are built and when they change — rather than as a one-time project.

• Structure. One heading per page in a logical order, landmark regions, a skip link to the main content, and breadcrumbs on catalog and company pages.
• Keyboard. Everything that can be clicked can be reached with Tab and operated with Enter or Space. Menus, tabs, dialogs and drawers follow the expected keyboard patterns; dialogs trap focus while open and return it when closed.
• Focus. A visible focus indicator on every interactive element, kept on the page’s brand colour with sufficient contrast.
• Labels and errors. Every form control has a label. Required fields are marked in text as well as colour, and validation errors are written out next to the field and announced.
• Contrast and text. Text and interface colours meet AA contrast ratios. Text can be resized to 200% and pages reflow to a single column on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
• Motion. Animations are brief, and are switched off when your system requests reduced motion.
• Tables and data. Data tables have headers with scope; on small screens they stack into labelled cards. Product identifiers use a monospace face and copy buttons with descriptive names.
• Images. Product images carry the product name; editorial photographs carry descriptions; decorative geometry is hidden from assistive technology.

Manufacturer documents — safety data sheets, specification sheets and instructions for use — come from third parties, mostly as PDF, and vary in how accessible they are. If a document you need is not usable with your assistive technology, tell us and we will provide the information in another form, by email or by phone. Third-party sites we link to (SAM.gov, manufacturers, carriers) are outside our control.

Where a page depends on JavaScript, the site tells you so and gives you a phone number and email so you can still place an order.

This site is built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript following the WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices for interactive components, and is tested with keyboard navigation and screen readers in current versions of major browsers. Conformance is evaluated against WCAG 2.2 Level AA; where we find a gap, it is logged and fixed as part of normal development.
