Ground shipping
Parcel orders ship UPS or FedEx ground from Robeson County. Ground shipping is free when the merchandise subtotal — after volume pricing, before tax — is $350.00 or more. Below that, shipping is a flat $14.95 per order. Both figures show in the cart before you check out.
If an order contains any item flagged as a freight item, the shipping line shows as quoted rather than a fixed rate; see Freight below.
Freight (LTL)
Hospital beds, exam tables, some furniture and other large or heavy equipment ship by less-than-truckload (LTL) freight. Each product page marks these items as Freight item. Freight is quoted before shipment based on the destination, the weight and dimensions, and the services you need; you approve the freight charge before the order ships.
Freight delivery is curbside unless inside delivery, a liftgate or a delivery appointment is arranged on the order. Someone must be available to receive and sign for freight. Inspect the shipment before signing and note any damage or shortage on the carrier’s delivery receipt — that note is what makes a carrier claim straightforward.
Regulated materials
Some disinfectants, alcohol-based products, compressed gases and similar items ship under hazardous-materials rules. These items are marked Regulated material on the product page. They ship by ground service only — never by air — and additional handling fees apply. Regulated materials cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes.
Transit times and tracking
Orders are processed in the order they are received during business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET). Standard ground transit is 2–4 business days to most of the Southeast; other regions take longer, and freight moves on the carrier’s schedule. Transit estimates are estimates — carriers, weather and volume affect them and we do not guarantee a delivery date unless one is written into a quote or contract.
You receive a confirmation when the order is placed and tracking when it ships. Tracking is also available under Track an order and, for account holders, under Orders in your account.
Partial shipments and backorders
When part of an order is in stock and part is not, we ship what is in stock and the balance follows when it arrives. Items marked Ships from manufacturer ship directly from the manufacturer on their own lead time and may arrive separately. You are not charged additional ground shipping for the balance of a split order.
Backordered lines show an estimated date on the product page and on your order. If you would rather hold the whole order until it can ship complete, or substitute an equivalent, tell your account specialist or use the contact page. Card payments are captured per shipment; purchase-order and terms accounts are invoiced per shipment.
Damaged, short or incorrect shipments
Inspect every shipment on arrival. For freight, note visible damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing. Report damage, shortages or an incorrect item within 5 business days of delivery to support@lam.supply or (910) 736-5696 with the order number, the affected lines and photographs of the packaging and product.
We file the carrier claim and arrange the replacement or credit; you do not need to deal with the carrier. Keep the product and packaging until the claim is settled. Concealed damage found after delivery is still reportable within the same window.
Addresses and undeliverable shipments
We ship to the address on the order. Corrections requested before the order ships are free; carrier fees for redirecting a shipment that has already left are passed through at cost. Shipments refused at delivery or returned as undeliverable are treated as returns under the returns policy.
Government and contract deliveries
Deliveries against a solicitation, contract or agency purchase order follow the delivery terms written into the quote or award, including FOB destination and delivery windows where they are specified. Packing lists carry line-item detail with manufacturer part numbers, quantities and — for dated stock — lot and expiration.
